The Book of Three - Lloyd Alexander I first read this book 30 years ago. I often found myself vaguely recalling certain plot points, but much of it was new since it's been so long. The style is simplistic in a YA sort of way (think Harry Potter), which really just makes it a quick, fun read. The author takes some liberties at times getting from point 'A' to point 'B', mostly to keep things progressing and to avoid unnecessary plot entanglements, but it all works. Very enjoyable read. I especially liked the characters of Gurgi and Eilonwy. Gurgi is just funny, and Eilonwy is the kind of girl young boys dream about meeting. ;-)
